I’m Matt Heidmiller, a Master Electrician with over 18 years of experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. From large-scale industrial work to custom homes and renovations, I’ve built my career on doing things the right way—safe, efficient, and fully code-compliant.
Before starting Radon Ridge Electric, I spent years working in demanding environments where precision and reliability were critical. That experience shaped how I approach every job today—no shortcuts, no guesswork, just solid workmanship you can count on.
Over the past decade, I’ve made the East Kootenays home, and for the last few years, I’ve been proud to serve the Invermere and Columbia Valley community.
I started Radon Ridge Electric to bring a higher standard of service to the area—combining technical expertise with honest, straightforward communication.
Too often, electrical work can feel rushed or unclear to homeowners. My goal is to change that by making the process simple, transparent, and dependable from start to finish.
In addition to electrical services, I’m also the only C-NRPP certified Radon Mitigation Specialist in the Columbia Valley.
That means I can help homeowners not only power their homes—but also make them safer. Radon is something you can’t see, smell, or feel, but it’s one of the leading causes of lung cancer. Having both electrical and radon expertise allows me to offer a unique, well-rounded service that most contractors can’t.
